Technical Executive at South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA)

Faith Ngwenya’s current position involves, amongst other things, providing technical support to professional accountants, making comments on proposed new legislation or amendments to current legislation, and lobbying with government on behalf of professional accountants and small and medium sized entities. She represents SAIPA at various international and national stakeholder meetings.

She holds the following professional qualifications: Chartered Secretary with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, Chartered Certified Accountant through the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, Professional Accountant SA with SAIPA and she is a member of the Institute of Directors.

Faith has presented papers at conferences and seminars both nationally and internationally. Her paper entitled “Small and medium sized entities as a vehicle for creating employment in South Africa” won the best paper at the 2012 International Academic Conference in Bangkok in March 2012.
